Puis, vers le 7e ou le 8e jour, le virus est chass\u00e9 par l\u2019organisme et l\u2019infection r\u00e9gresse. Mais il peut y avoir une 2e phase inflammatoire tr\u00e8s grave, caus\u00e9e par le syst\u00e8me immunitaire du patient lui-m\u00eame. Or, c\u2019est justement l\u00e0 que les cortico\u00efdes interviennent.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Le Pr Olivier Bouchaud, directeur du service maladies infectieuses de l\u2019h\u00f4pital Avicenne en Seine-Saint-Denis, confirme que les cortico\u00efdes viennent calmer cette r\u00e9action inflammatoire du corps.
